Dear Dalibor, Many thanks for your email and please find to follow my thoughts as per your questions. It’s a wonderful piece of glass and certainly something of interest to us here at Fieldings Auctioneers Ltd. • the likely date and, if identifiable, the model or series; In terms of the date I believe this falls well within the mid 1960s to mid 1970s period owing to the style and design. I cannot attribute a specific range however. • your proposed auction attribution and catalogue description; I would concur with your attribution which also falls within the correct time period that Goldoni was collaborating with Barbini. • the estimated auction value and recommended reserve; Subject to handling the item first hand my initial considerations are £400 to £600 however that is cautionary until such time as I am able to examine it first hand. • the most appropriate specialist sale; and I would suggest that we hold the item back for inclusion to our next specialist Decades of Design sale in October which will be held on the 15th and 16th of the month. • the applicable seller’s fees and other charges. Our commission rate is 20% which includes your VAT together with a £6-00 lotting fee and we would of course apply a reserve to protect the piece. Heavy art glass with a smoky, iridescent ground and raised green and amber inclusions. CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition overall. No chips or cracks.
